Stupid women. They just really make zero sense to me.

For instance… cute ass girl that was in school locally wanted a “thug”… she got one. Dude done some federal time, went to jail for having sex with a minor, as well as strong arm robbery. Thug out mofo for real, right? Guess what… she got him angry and a year later, her parents are just now finding her remains after he’s been asked and asked by the cops, made a child with another woman – who also liked thugs – and finally gave himself up all because his brother turned him in because of an “off comment”…

However, I’m personally glad that he indeed got caught, the parents can finally have some closure – not the kind they’d rather have – and the guilty get punished.

That’s an extreme example… I’ll give you another though.

One of my boys and his girlfriend of ten years… that’s right, a decade, finally decide to get married. About two years ago when Hurricane Isabella came through (that’s the f***in‘ hurricane that chased me from Charleston, SC to Mechanicsburg, PA and caught me there, but I did get a trip in to Atlantic City, NJ) and destroyed not only her apartment complex, but also half of his original house. They built a house a year later together. Not trying to paint a perfect picture here… dude originally was dirty with shorty. I mean… dirrrrrty. But the last 5 years, dude cleaned up his act, much to the threats of myself and my big friend up in the same area as dude up in VA Beach, and started treating her like the woman she was. This chick… golden as far as I could see. He pops the question… she says yes. A week later, she admits she cheated on him from the time she said “yes” to when she told him.

Damn that’s dirty… but his karma caught up with him I guess.

My problem though… good guys don’t finish first for s**t. I’m not moaning or complaining – this is straight rant – but damn. I’ve all but stopped hoping that I’ll be 100% happy with whomever. Not that I’m overlooking anybody – Del, you’re my babydoll – but I swear it just makes it harder to keep that romantic part of you alive when you see that you had more women interested in you when you were playing the livin’ hell out of them. They flock to you. I went through an asshole period two years ago as well as most of my college years… needed a stick to fight them off.

Decided that I wanted to settle down, be more mature… picked the wrong chick. She decided to run through the crew… oh well. That was actually fun. She got treated like she wanted… treated like a ho. I have no regrets though.

But seriously… chivalry ain’t dead. It’s just that most females don’t deserve it… so they don’t get it. Or better yet, when they get it, they won’t appreciate it.

They’d rather find a man that either doesn’t give them the appreciation they desire, they go for a man that’ll just basically stick and move on them if given the chance, or they’ll go for the insta-happy of flashy money, car, and whatnot; overlooking what they might lack in responsibility or downright “man training”… all because they think somewhere down deep in some misplaced motherly instinct notion that they can actually “change him”.

I got a bridge I’m willing to sell your dumb ass too.

It takes a real man that’s willing to commit to waking up to the same woman day in-day out and willingly go into that knowing that on some days there is no f***in’ way they’re gonna be right about anything, even the way he breathes that day. Oh well… that’s why guys have garages, basements, the outdoors, that ol’ recliner or a project (something) to turn to. Concentrate on the good, take out the negative energy on something else in a constructive manner.

Real women though… you shouldn’t be too upset by what I’m saying. It doesn’t really apply to you. Just don’t be too surprised if the door ahead of you just isn’t held for you each and every time.
