I’m all for a comfortable office chair especially when your job (or relationship) requires you to spend hours in front of a computer. But at times I have to question some of the designs created by posture ‘experts.’ For instance this Stance Angle Chair can be configured to almost a standing position which apparently provides optimal blood flow and relieves the pressure on your buttocks. Isn’t that what the buttocks is designed for though?

The easy to adjust seat and back also includes foot and knee rests allowing you to sit, stand or kneel in a variety of posture-optimal positions. And since some of these stances make reaching your computer almost impossible you’ll also need the TaskMate accessory which sits on your desk and serves as a lift for your keyboard and display.

The Stance Angle Chair is sadly not as healthy for your pocketbook and will set you back about $1,200-$1,500. The TaskMate which is pretty much essential when using the chair to its fullest is another $800-$900 on top of that.
