There have been forum rumblings for several weeks of a cash crunch at VoIP provider Sunrocket. Now GigaOM posts the rumor that the company has laid off around forty employees. The provider has had a rocky life span, one that hasn’t been helped by cable VoIP competition and major recurring outages.

Internet has come a long way since its birth. There are now several different ways to build internet connection. One can do this by inserting wireless internet card in computer or can use dsl. Apart from this, internet phone and ip phones are there as well to help people connect to the internet through cell phones and an internet phone is not the last option available, wireless internet providers are there as well to offer internet connectivity.
