In case you haven t heard, people who rely on rabbit ears to get their television signals are going to lose their ability to watch TV as of February 2009. Despite a great push to make sure that all consumers are aware of this, concerns remain that someone out there isn t going to know what s going on when that transition takes place. A recent test by a Las Vegas television station seems to indicate that the transition will go smoothly. The station ran a series of this is only a test style simulated blackouts to show customers what was going to happen when the transition takes place. They announced that anyone who could still see their television screen during these blackouts would not have any problems after the transition and encouraged people to call with their concerns. Only one call came in so either people are getting the picture or they re entirely disinterested in what s going on.
