Samsung ‘OMNIA’ makes global debut

SINGAPORE, Singapore (AVING) — Samsung revealed its showcase including the Samsung OMNIA along with a variety of new product lineups at CommunicAsia 2008, Singapore, the region’s premier Information and Communications Technology event, from June 17 to 20.
The diversity of products and technologies presented reinforces Samsung’s position as a design-led, forward-thinking company that fuels consumers’ demands for innovative new technologies and lifestyle changing needs under its new slogan, ‘a Mobile for Every Lifestyle.’
The OMNIA is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and comes packed with MS Office. Even though the OMNIA has 3.2-inch WQVGA full touch screen, Samsung included an optical mouse for ease navigation.
