Photos From Inside the iPhone Factory
Apple, Cellphone, Unusual, iPhone July 28th, 2008My mother bought an iPhone this morning. Got it home, ripped off all the factory sealed packing, registered it and while changing the wallpaper, found three photos in the camera roll. Two are blurry, but this one is something else…

Now that’s a lot of iPhones. A sight most people would kill for wish they could see at their local stores due to continuing shortages globally. All isn’t in vain though; you can always check availability via the Apple Store iPhone availability checker.
Update: Here’s the fullsized images - here, here and here.
Thanks to Thomas for letting me republish the photos.

It’s too bad they didn’t include a shot of the worker’s dorms where they sleep on campus during the week. 16 hour days making iPhones? Brilliant.

I have a moral question for the person posting this. Have you thought of what might happen to the worker(s) in China once Apple has seen this?
Apple might see this and order the factory to fire this staff. It’s something you found funny here in the US/UK and actually made someone lost their job and maybe entire family would lose their income?
July 28th, 2008 at 10:53 pm
You seriously think a blurry picture of a finger condom without any faces on a phone that’s in the hands of a person that’s in the UK can lead to a job being lost in China?
Seriously. They solve that one, they’re better than 20 episodes of CSI and Columbo put together.

Ah, the picture of an assemply line at Foxcomm’s Shanghai factory. And no, Apple does not own the factory - they outsource them to Foxcomm, one of the largest OEM in the world. They won’t get fired for this, geepers… you know how hard is it to hire good hi tech assemply worker in the Shanghai area nowdays? Overactive Western imagination.
BTW, the CEO of Foxcomm just got married this week; and almost every single celeb and government official in Taiwan showed up.
