LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on ‘FABTECH International & AWS Welding Show 2008′) — Wolf Robotics exhibited a new welding positioner model ‘SkyHook Lift 5000′ featuring IRB 4400 welding robot at the Fabtech International & AWS Welding show 2008 in Las Vegas.

This positioner is capable of manipulating up to 5,000kg(11,000 lbs) of weight increasing the welding robot access. In addition to the platter and shoulder axis movement the entire arm now offers vertical lift for improved operation.
