In the age of unlimited e-mail data storage services this may or may not excite you, but Cox has started offering a 5GB automated backup service to customers in select markets. Dubbed “Media Store and Share,” the service is powered by Casero, and is only available to Premium (20Mbps/3Mbps, sometimes known as “Premier”) and Preferred (10Mbps/2Mbps) customers, but not Value (1.5Mbps/256kbps) customers. According to a new Cox press release, they’ve launched the service in the Northern Virginia market.
