According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Minneapolis citywide Wi-Fi network is stuck at 82% completion. The privately owned, anchor tenanted network appears to have run into some opposition from the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, who won’t allow the project developers to mount access points on and around park property. According to the Board, The city and US Internet of Minnetonka, the builder of the network, didn’t follow proper channels when attempting to get approval for the network.
