Apparently at 12am, any Zune 30 that had been updated with the most current firmware just stopped working. Mind you, I own a Zune 120 but even so, this might affect my Zune as well.

I read this story on Wired.com and was shocked…I thought “Hey, I own one of those 30gb 1st-gen Zunes”. So I went and retrieved it to turn it on and sure enough…Frozen at the loading screen. I don’t want to crack the case to remove the battery, but I’ll wait for it to die and reboot it.
