Clearwire To Launch WiMax/Wi-Fi Router – To launch within weeks, no price tag set yet…

Clearwire is getting ready to launch a new Cradlepoint home router designed for their “Clear” Mobile WiMax service, that will convert the WiMax signal for use by up to eight Wi-Fi devices. According to Unstrung, the company is expecting to release the device in the “coming weeks,” though there is no word on price yet. Clearwire’s David Barkoe directs my attention to this video of the router, taken during Clearwire’s Portland launch event earlier this week.
