A few months ago, Dell CEO Michael Dell “predicted” (not hard, given he was personally working to finalize such offers with carriers at the time) that US consumers would soon start seeing the same kind of subsidized netbooks commonly available in Europe and Asia. That’s slowly coming true, Acer recently offering an Aspire One for (normally 0) to users willing to sign a two year contract for any AT&T data plan of /month or higher. Now, rather unsurprisingly, Dell is also offering their new Inspiron Mini 9 netbook for (after 0 mail in rebate) if you sign up for the same AT&T plan.
