Charter Expands 20Mbps Availability – No word on expansion of 60Mbps tier…

Despite the fact they’re planning to file for bankruptcy protection shortly, Charter Communications seems to be even busier than normal. Users in our Charter forum note that the company is continuing their staggered deployment of faster 20Mbps tiers — customers saying the faster speeds are now available in most markets. There’s still no word on when Charter’s new, uncapped 60Mbps/5Mbps service (9.99, 9.99 bundled) will be expanded into additional areas. Charter’s recent productivity boost has been accompanied by the launch of new download caps, but also an increased presence in our forums, where Charter just started officially offering support.
