MyTouch 3G versus Apple iPhone 3G S bill comparison

Billshrink.com is at again, this time comparing the upcoming T-Mobile’s MyTouch 3G versus the AT&T Apple iPhone 3G S and the cost of ownership of each cellphone.

Will MyTouch be the iPhone killer with the news this week that Apple folded under pressure from AT&T and excluded Google’s Voice app from the App store? Perhaps it could be for those obsessed with getting their hands on the new voice app, which is alive and kicking on Blackberry and the Android Market.

While the MyTouch 3G, iPhone 3GS and Palm Pre each cost $199, it’s important to evaluate the total cost of ownership over 2 years:

• MyTouch: $1998 – 1000 minutes/month + unlimited data and messaging
• Palm Pre: $2359 – 900 minutes/month + unlimited data and messaging
• iPhone 3G S: $2839 – 900 minutes/month + unlimited data and messaging

Seems like the more I read about the MyTouch 3G, the more I like it.

I got an iPhone 3G as a gift from my best friend. This phone is the best phone that i ever had, great style and great features. I luv my iPhone 3G.

iPhone 3G is simply the best phone that i have owned. It is very stylish and its nice features. I also own an N97 but i like the iphone.

the first batch of iPhone 3G was a bit pricey but now the price is more affordable than before. I bought two units of iPhone 3g and i am amazed of this phone.

There are three I-Phones in my family. My younger son and his fiance recently switched from T-Mobile to AT&T just to get I-Phones. My older son has AT&T and bought an I-Phone after he saw his brother’s phone. They all love them.

I’ve been with T-Mobile for over 8 years and was not ready or willing to switch carriers just for a phone. I opted for the MyTouch in white, upgrading from a Samsung Behold. I love the MyTouch. I can do just as much with my phone as they can with theirs and I think they are really comparable phones. MyTouch is a smaller phone, but still very stylish, and I think it can hold it’s own against the I-Phone. And I like the construction of it.
