No doubt brought forth due to the pending release of the Sony PSP Go later today (October 1st, 2009) [ PSP Go ], Sony has released the 6.10 Firmware for the PSP-3000 and so forth. Besides the typical “security” updates, Sony added SensMe:
SensMe channels is a new music application for PSP that uses Sony’s proprietary 12 Tone Analysis technology to evaluate music tracks that have been imported from Media Go application on your PC to your PSP. The application automatically categorizes the tracks into 12 channels such as “Relax” or “Newly Added”.
Media Go also got updated to 1.2 [ Free Download ] which finally brings the ability to export playlists to the PSP.
And If you’re into the homebrew and/or “other” uses of the PSP, I’d honestly say avoid until the scene provides a “fix” otherwise. Update at your own risk…

The Internet has come a long way since its inception. There are now several different ways to get an internet connection. One can do this by inserting wireless internet card in computer or can use DSL. Apart from this, internet phones and ip phones are there as well to help people connect internet through phones. Internet telephony is not the last option available, wireless internet providers are there as well to offer internet connectivity.

I bought one. I’m not going to update from 5.70 to 6.10 until there’s more news on hacking it. No doubt sony will release 6.11 very soon, now that FreePlay’s Hello World video and all new PSP Go’s will ship with 6.11 standard.

If you’ve purchased your games, you’re fine. If you have not purchased them… you’re sorta going to have to wait until the scene provides a way for those kind of games to be played under 6.10.
