Samsung to release its triple-network smart phone: Show OMNIA

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — Samsung Electronics held ‘Anycall OMNIA Media Day’ to unveil five new smart phones ‘OMNIA Family’, which will be launched in Korea market in the end of the year.

In particular, ‘Show OMNIA(model: M8400)’ with a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display features ‘Triple Mode’ supporting 3G W-CDMA, Wi-Fi and WiBro. Adopting next-generation Haptic UI 2.0, the Show OMNIA offers rich multimedia functions such as video recording/playback, DMB, DivX and more.

Other features included a 5M digital camera with dual power LED flash, 800MHz CPU, high-capacity built-in memory(2GB or 8GB), GPS, Bluetooth connectivity and more. It will be available in Korea market through KT.

No mention of an American or European release quite yet though.
