It’s been a while since I’ve had a contest here at RTL; however UL has posted their “Safe and Bright” $10,000 USD contest that aims to not only enrich your bank account but also your knowledge about what/how UL tested products are throughout your house and how they keep you and your loved ones safe.

For more than 115 years, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has been a pioneer in safety standards and the UL Mark can now be found on billions of products to signify that they have been tested and certified.

This holiday season, UL wants you to tell us about the brightest holiday moments that you share with your family. Is it putting up your favorite decorations together? Building a snowman on a winter morning? Celebrating the birth of a new family member? Telling stories gathered around the fireplace? Rolling out the cookies or dressing the turkey for the feast?

How to Submit:

• 1. Find or take a photo, create a video or write a blog describing your bright holiday moment.
• 2. Click the Submit Entry tab and follow the steps provided.
• 3. Tell your friends to come to the campaign and vote for and share your entry!

Rewards:

• Grand Prize: One winner, selected by Underwriters Laboratories from the top 100 highest scoring eligible entries, will receive a $10,000 Family Prize Pack – $5,000 for a family vacation and $5,000 worth of Underwriters Laboratories certified products.
• Most Viral: One winner, selected by Underwriters Laboratories from the top 100 Most Viral eligible entries, will receive a $1,000 Family Experience and a Underwriters Laboratories certified laptop.
• Sign-Up Sweepstakes: Six winners, who sign up to receive exciting news and information from Underwriters Laboratories by filling out the form in the Campaign Highlights area of the “Share Your Bright Holiday Moments” campaign or that opt-in from the Submit Entry tab, will be randomly selected to win a Underwriters Laboratories certified laptop.
