LG Launches Stylish External Hard Drive XG1 Chic

LG Electronics has launched its new stylish external hard drives “XG1 Chic” in the Korean market, with curved edges and a LED lamp on the front panel. The XG1 Chic supports SATA II and has a 3.5-inch form factor, equipped with a powerful and silent cooling system and comes in white or black.

Lancia & Fiat to be Built on Chrysler’s Platforms

Another morsel to come out of Fiat’s 2-year plan is the short term product plan for Lancia, a brand that the parent company has been accused of neglecting for quite a while. In addition to the usual refreshes and facelifts, the truly juicy bit is that Fiat plans 17 new vehicles over the next two years, and Chrysler platforms will provide the basis for four Lancias.

Speaking of Google Voice, Sean Kovacs is Testing GV Mobile v2.0 b5

One of the original apps that did Google Voice on the Apple iPhone, Sean Kovacs GV Mobile but was ripped out of the Apple iTunes app store because of the politics of Google Voice and AT&T’s “policies” and later was set loose on the Cydia/Rock scene (read: jailbroken iPhone scene) is currently in private beta.

2009 was a good year. An oft-delayed redesign, a few good reviews, a few reviews that didn’t make the cut and I never published them… and the end of being around for over 5 years… hoping that the next decade is indeed an odyssey that includes more readers, more reviews and more cool stuff.

Mediacom Customers Still Having E-mail Problems – Weeks After ‘Next Generation’ E-mail Upgrades

A week ago, Mediacom went through with a promising e-mail upgrade that might take a week to accomplish said update. Two weeks later, the upgrade still has users still without e-mail service and users are irate. Don’t blame them.
