I must confess a fondness for tasty gelatinous desserts but the usual shapes are so damned boring, fortunately, Think Geek have us covered with this nice little crawling zombie torso gelatin mold. Spam volume has significantly declined since hosting company McColo went down on Tuesday night. The site went down after four months of investigation by security experts and an investigative piece by Washington Post reporter Brian Krebs, which claimed that 75% of all spam was being sent via the hosting service.

From CNET:

Jose Nazario of Arbor Networks, a company that monitors botnet activity, speculated that McColo vanished at around 9 a.m. Eastern time on November 10. Botnets are frequently used to relay spam, and McColo may have hosted some of the command and control servers necessary to coordinate spam campaigns.

I didn’t really believe it myself until I checked my spam box today. I had 12 in there for Tuesday, 8 for Wednesday and none as of 3:08 p.m. today. That strikes me as a victory in my book, but it will no doubt be short-lived.
A lot of people decide to make modifications to their PC case, and they turn out alright. Other people decide to go all-out, and you’re left with a creation that can only be described as “pure awesome”. This Battlestar Galactica PC mod falls into the latter category.

This machine has just about everything you could imagine, right down to functioning runway lights. You’ll find 3 2.5-inch LCD screens, and a nice 10-inch LCD screen on the side, just in case you’ve forgotten a full-sized one. Even more impressive is the slot-loading optical drive hidden behind the Battlestar Galactica medallion. I can’t even imagine the sort of time and effort it took to put this together. Kudos to Boddaker, the mastermind behind this incredible project.

Built-in laptop speakers are pretty under whelming and that is just a fact of life. Innovative design with removable stands, the XT1 delivers superb sound and surprisingly deep bass thanks to four full-range neodymium micro drivers and bass enhancement technology. And just like your laptop, the XT1 knows how to travel light. Plug it into your USB port, press play, and you will be listening to the best portable sound you have ever heard from a laptop. Pack it up in its deluxe carrying case, and you are ready for your next trip. Slim, portable design Flat panel, shielded satellites with removable stands pack easily and go anywhere.
