I missed my chance to put in some money on the Las Vegas and online oddmakers bets if the Apple iPhone would sell less than or more than one million phones – I would have won since I bet the Apple iPhone 4 sold more than 1.7 million phones in that debut weekend. Anyway, the oddmakers are at it again. This time, people are putting money if Steve Jobs/Apple will stage a recall before or after July 31st, if at all.

Bookmaker.com has done it again! Mickey Richardson and his team of oddmakers have once again calculated the odds for Steve Jobs’s recent creation: the Apple iPhone 4.

A week after its launch, tech junkies are already determined to find potential flaws in the device. Twitter has already spread the rumors, and experts are wondering: will Apple really recall its iPhone 4 before July 31st?

The +/- indicates the return on the wager. The percentage is the likelihood that response will occur. For example: Betting on the candidate least likely to win would earn the most amount of money, should that happen.

Nintendo is releasing in late July three renditions of their playing cards featuring the imagery of the old, pixelated NES version of Super Mario Bros., then their updated, more cartoon-y versions of Mario and company and finally their more recent 3D iterations of Mario, Bowser – he’s the joker card. Just for nostalgia sake, I’m willing to bet that the retro-NES version of the playing cards will be the best seller.

Ok… besides looking like a cross between a Cylon and Kool Moe Dee, these shades are pretty much part of the poker player outfit and trickery that I truly hope isn’t the norm. Regardless, with that said, there’s a ton of gadgets, gizmos and other odd knick-knacks that other serious poker players just might turn to possibly increase their chances at winning.

This wireless poker game from Hammacher Schlemmer makes it easy for up to six players to compete in a Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournament in the comfort of your own home. The main unit connects to a television and provides an overhead view of the poker table with icons showing the players, their winnings, the hole cards, the community cards as well as the current pot.

There are also six wireless controllers with LCD screens that allow each player to manage their hands while keeping them secret via a sliding screen cover. But if you’re planning a poker night with 5 friends you might want to make sure you’ve stocked up on batteries first. While the main unit requires 4 AA batteries, each of the the six controllers require 3 AAA batteries.

Of course this isn’t the first wireless multi-player poker game I’ve seen on the market. If I remember correctly the last time I was in Vegas the casinos were using something called a deck of cards to provide a similar experience for players.
