The good guys over at Tweaktown have reviewed the Athlon II X4 620 processor, a quad-core cpu for the masses. It’s not as hardcore as the AMD Phenom or Intel Quad Cores… but it’s a quad core cpu for under $100 bucks.

The Adesso WKB-3100 is priced at $79.99, it’s not exactly a bad piece of kit. Does what it says it will do and does it in a well thought out package that works well with two hands on the sides controlling the trackball and mouse buttons (right and left hand) and despite having a small form factor and I have big hands, I was able to use both hands during typing

Nicolay City Lights Volume 2: Shibuya is a radical move on their part where two people… no, where two musicians are showing their talent and love for music that came before them – jazz, soul, funk, early hiphop, electronica, etc. – and doing it in a way that is distinctly their own music, not some watered down tribute or facade.

Being an early adopter is much akin to the first person that runs into a building when it’s on fire. Even if you’re properly suited up, you might be in more danger because you’ve not taken the time to fully size up the situation and don’t know the ins and outs, the pitfalls… and the obstacles. An early adopter of technology, especially initial release technology… they’ve been similarly burned.

But I can venture that’s not the case with Apple’s newly released 10.6 Snow Leopard (Build 10A432).

Remove The Labels (RTL) just reviewed the Eos Wireless iPod Speakers and Dock, this system is a must-buy for multi-room audio without breaking the bank.

What we have for you here though is size comparison comparing the Socket LGA 1366 Core i7 powerhouse against the upcoming Socket LGA 1136 Core i5 mainstream processors – namely the Core i5 “Lynnfield” 45nm quad-core and the soon to be dodo Core i5 “Havendale” 45nm dual-core with embedded graphics on the CPU itself.

By Andrew Liszewski When I first read about the concept of tagging your photos with GPS data, I wasn’t exactly sold on the idea. I mean who takes photos and forgets where they were? That’s half the reason for taking a photo in the first place, to remember where you’ve been or what you’ve seen. [...]

The battery at 2300mAh Li-Polymer battery exceeds the internal battery for the iPhone3G (rated near 1600mAh) and is a bit more than the competition from Mophie (Juice Pack – iPhone 3G is rated at 1800mAh) and Richard Solo External battery, also rated at 1800mAh. Unlike most external batteries though, the iPower battery case does not need to dangle in the way.

By Evan Ackerman In the market for a new HD camcorder? No? C’mon, why not? Everything’s getting smaller and cheaper, and HD camcorders are no exception. RCA sent us a sample of one of their smallest and cheapest, the EZ300HD, which can do just about everything you want and nothing you don’t care about. This [...]

By Andrew Liszewski We first wrote about the GigaPan EPIC panoramic camera mount a few weeks ago when it was used to create a massive 1,474 megapixel panorama of the recent presidential inauguration. Fortunately for me, a good friend of mine, and the guy behind the fantastic ‘daily dose of imagery‘ photoblog ordered one right [...]

What takes six D sized batteries, is about as stealth as Roseanne Barr at an all-you-can-eat buffet, will simultaneously have you live your childhood Rambo/Predator/Commando/Unreal Tournament dream/fetish and will make your other office mates jealous with envy while ducking your soft yet automatic wrath?

Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 Blaster.

If your idea of a cologne is Axe body spray, it’s time to graduate to something less offensive and more intimate. Prada Infusion D’Homme is a very clean, close-clinging scent that smells very fresh, almost like good, french milled soap with a hint of incense and citrus.

Continuing the gift guide for last minute shoppers, the Oral-B Triumph 9900 with SmartGuide and remote display is definitely worth it.
