C-motech introduced its dual-mode USB modem ‘CBU-450D’ supporting both HSUPA and WiBro in the Korean market.

According to reports, Modern Warfare 2 players get “infected” by unwittingly joining a private match hosted by a carrier. They then get hit by the same issue – unlimited ammo and no reloads – and can pass it on if the end up hosting any games themselves. Allegedly, it’s “spreading like an STD.”

The CompuLab fit-PC2i is one of the smallest desktops on the market that can also run Microsoft Windows 7.

ntel Corporation has made its beta version of the Intel Atom Developer Program Software Development Kit (SDK) available for Microsoft Windows and Moblin operating systems developers. The kit helps software companies and individuals design and submit applications for Intel-based netbooks to ultimately sell at stores opening next year.

Don’t buy that cheap XBOX 360. It might be one of the million or so banned XBOX 360′s that cannot rejoin the XBOX Live Network. And don’t listen to the hype, the fix isn’t easy either.

Microsoft Zune HD owners finally have something that they can show off to their Apple iPod Touch mp3 player brethren. If the launch of Windows 7 is news to you, you either had to be under a rock, still on the International Space Station or enjoying your Apple 10.6 (Snow Leopard) too much to really care.

Microsoft is playing around with some tech that will make Google Maps look like an old world map that Lewis and Clark might have used. Some people can travel by landmarks alone. Some people can be given a list of streets and be just fine. I’m a landmarks type of traveler… as long as you’ve included the street names too.

Humor. Death. Usually those two words don’t even fit into the same sentence; but from the makers of Secret of Monkey Island come DeathSpank… a game that’s bound to be equal amount of death-dealing and entertaining.

Upon restarting the Zune software, you will now be greeted by an all purpose “home page” named the Quickplay page. Released today at 12:00 (GMT -5), Microsoft releases Internet Explorer 8.0 Final for download: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx

Early this morning we were alerted by our customers that there was a widespread issue affecting our 2006 model Zune 30GB devices (a large number of which are still actively being used). The technical team jumped on the problem immediately and isolated the issue: a bug in the internal clock driver related to the way the device handles a leap year. The issue should be resolved over the next 24 hours as the time change moves to January 1, 2009. We expect the internal clock on the Zune 30GB devices will automatically reset tomorrow (noon, GMT). By tomorrow you should allow the battery to fully run out of power before the unit can restart successfully then simply ensure that your device is recharged, then turn it back on.

Apparently at 12am, any Zune 30 that had been updated with the most current firmware just stopped working. Mind you, I own a Zune 120 but even so, this might affect my Zune as well.
