PlayStation Move Motion Controller Delivers a Whole New Entertainment Experience

11 Mar 2010Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced that PlayStation Move motion controller for PlayStation 3 (PS3™) computer entertainment system will launch worldwide this fall, offering a motion-based, high-definition gaming experience unlike anything on the market.
Concurrently with its launch, SCE will also release PlayStation Move sub-controller to be used along with the motion controller for intuitive navigation of in-game characters and objects. The PlayStation Move platform, including the motion controller, sub-controller and PlayStation Eye camera, together with a strong lineup of software titles, will deliver an innovative and highly immersive experience on the PS3 system.

18 Feb 2010The new DRM employed by SOCOM 3 forces users to sign up online, use a voucher that’s included in the UMD version of the game. If you purchase the game used, you will have to purchase not only the used game, but another voucher for $20 in order to use the game.

The deal was supposedly intended only to lure in new Cox customers, but Cox’s marketing team accidentally sent the flyers out to all customers.
Yep, they screwed up.

They then get hit by the same issue – unlimited ammo and no reloads – and can pass it on if the end up hosting any games themselves. Allegedly, it’s “spreading like an STD.”

Capcom announces Super Street Fighter IV

29 Sep 2009Capcom has officially announced Super Street Fighter IV for PS3 and Xbox 360, the game will be released in February 2010. Super Street Fighter IV will have improved character balance and 8 new characters, including T. Hawk and Dee Jay from SSF2 and Yuri. The game will be a standalone game but it will not have a full game price. There will be additional content for users who already purchased the original Street Fighter IV.
