I work for a company that owns and manages aged care facilities throughout New South Wales, Australia – high care nursing homes, low care hostels and self care retirement villages. I would like to present a proposal to our CEO to include Skype enhanced flat screen, wall mounted TV’s in our low care hostel rooms. I see the advantage of such an inclusion being to open up an additional convenient means for family and friends communicate with aged care residents. Could you provide me with any material you have regarding cost, ease of use by elderly people, installation ease or difficulty etc, that would assist me in the preparation of a proposal that would enable a fully informed decision to be made.

copper deteriorates. it needs to be replaced, at&t even uses for its u-verse-but at&t is not putting in new cable and is barely maintaining the copper facilities it has-they are laying off bodies and forsaking quality service in the name of a good healthy stock value. what exactly is going to happen with all that copper that nobody wants?? since we are not going to let china buy it why not nationalize it? brilliant!!!

It’s an application for the Apple iPhone or iPod Touch. So you’d download it via iTunes; however if you’re not in the USA – and I’m not 100% about this – you might not have access to it.

I’m one of those thousand of users willing to forgive MJ for their not so good business practice because of the cost and besides I only use it as a back up. I have my main voip service with Onesuite so I’m not too worried about MJ’s ethics.

MJ market is not those who wants or needs a everyday voip phone service rather those only needs to make a few calls a day. This is why their usage is cap too and not exactly unlimited.

Of course something like this exists…It’s been around for decades! It’s called “Planned Obsolescence”. Wiki that phrase. In fact, I know an engineer who used to work for a major technology company who actually wrote code that calculated the estimated failure time of specific components so that certain key components would fail at the same time.
Stop being so naive and think of how companies would make money if things *DIDN’T* break!
