Acer Introduces Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU Loaded Android Phone Called “Stream”

Acer has introduced a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU based, Android 2.1 OS loaded smartphone named Stream at IFA 2010 held in Berlin, Germany from September 3 to 8.

‘Stream’ is loaded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz processor and 3.7 inch AMOLED display. It also supports Acer UI 4.0, 512MB ram, Wi-Fi, GPS and micro HDMI.

Acer [ site here ] has showcased its Android based smartphone Liquid S100 during CeBIT 2010, which comes equipped with a 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen. Powered by 768MHz Qualcomm 8250 processor, 512MB ROM and 265MB RAM, the Liquid S100 features a 5M camera, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD card slot and mini USB.

Acer’s netbook Ferrari One based on AMD Congo platform

Acer Korea [ site here ] has launched its new netbook ‘Ferrari One’ based on AMD’s second generation ultra-thin platform, Congo.

Adopting a 11.6-inch CrystalBrite LED-backlit LCD monitor at 16:9 aspect ratio, the Ferrari One is powered by AMD Athlon 64×2 L310 Dual Core processor, 2GB DDR2 800MHz memory, M780G chipset, ATi Radeon HD 3200 graphics, 320GB HDD and Windows 7 OS.

It comes with a Ferrari inspired design now available in the Korea. Sorta a oxymoron though… netbook and Ferrari. One is fast, the other… you get it.
