Looks like Qwest, who pretty much offers everything under the sun for their customers in their area, has released some informational, interactive kiosks explaining everything… just in case you might not know what all they offer.

All of the residential and small-business products that Qwest offers, including voice services, Qwest high-speed and fiber-optic Internet services, Verizon Wireless service and DIRECTV® service, are available at the Qwest kiosks, but the goal of Qwest’s new retail strategy is to let consumers experience the very broad set of products and services Qwest offers, and see how these services can be mixed and matched to suit their lifestyles at home and on the go…

At the kiosks customers can experience how combining services like Qwest High-Speed Internet and DIRECTV service available through Qwest, provides access to DIRECTV on Demand with more than 4,000 programming titles, and enables customers to share photos, music and videos by sending them from their home computers to their big-screen TVs. In addition to multimedia demos, customers can get their hands on entertainment and games, connectivity solutions that enable new and innovative home phone functionality, Internet-based home monitoring services, business productivity devices and more.

Earlier, this post explained about Qwest‘s fiber to the neighborhood (FTTN) network is expanding to a few select cities.

After some digging around, the 23 select markets are listed below for your perusal:

Arizona: Phoenix, Tucson
Colorado: Denver, Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins
Idaho: Boise
Iowa: Des Moines, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids
Minnesota: Minneapolis/St. Paul
Nebraska: Omaha
New Mexico: Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces
Oregon: Portland, Salem, Bend, Eugene
Utah: Salt Lake City, Provo, St. George
Washington: Seattle, Vancouver

For the first time in my life, and for faster downloads and internet speeds, I actually have Boise, Idaho on my list of possible places I’d live. Guess it’s the 12mb and 20mb speeds that has me considering a move.

Read more about Qwest’s FTTN network offerings here.
