In my city (Greenville, SC), the BMW Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament is currently going on and while thinking about hitting up the Thornblade golf course, it hit me.

I don’t know how many yards is hole 8, and if hole 14 would be a dogleg left with a par 5, let alone the par for each hole. And history has shown me that I shouldn’t trust the markers on most courses. They can be 10-30 yards off and I should have used a 5 iron instead of a 3 iron.

Heck, the last golf course I had been to was the local one to me down in Charleston, South Carolina and not in Greenville, South Carolina. I’d be prepared to accurately suss out the amount of yards per hole and the amount of yardage to the green.
