We all have credit cards, debit cards, passwords and other stuff we’d love to keep secure someway, somehow. OneSafe for all of the iOS devices – iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch – can do just that.

Lunabee Pte Ltd is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of oneSafe app, a reliable and secure password manager and data vault that securely stores confidential information relating to credit cards, bank accounts, logins as well as various types of documents and images. With a great interface and functionality, the powerful and feature-rich application is truly the place to store anything private or in need of high security.

OneSafe delivers a broad range of possibilities, enabling users to securely store passwords and logins, bank account numbers, loyalty cards, access codes, IDs and may more. The app protects the sensitive information using 256-bit AES encryption and locks the data behind a four-digit unlock code, visual pattern or an alphanumeric code. With unique browser technology, oneSafe automatically logs users into websites where they used those passwords. Ready-made templates are designed to enter the details and keep them in order. The data can be organized by categories, marked as favorite and easily searched.

The guys over at Lunabee have crafted OneSafe to be as easy to use and secure as you can be on your iOS device with an easy to use and remember pattern or alphanumeric code as well as browser integration for ease of automatic sign-ins.

Best of all, it’s free. But if you want additional capacity, you will have to purchase that via an in-app purchase.

Crawl Space Games pulls out genre crossing Zombies Ala Mode, addictive gameplay for Apple iPhone, iPad and Android.

I know what you’re thinking… there’s so many zombie games that incorporate ice cream and humor. I know, right! Wait… no, that’s not what I was thinking. Sure, the zombie genre is “on fire” right now, but when Crawl Space Games went about combining awesome art, incredible humor, addictive gameplay and mixes genres of Scoops, Zombies versus Plants and throws in some of the most awkward sounding, but helpful upgrades – I want a real life cardboard helmet that looks like that, serious – and you’ve got a game that will hold my interest:

Plants vs Zombies meets Scoops in Zombies Ala Mode for Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, and Android devices. Play as a young hard working zombie trying to make a living in the ice cream business. Fill ice cream orders while dodging obstacles and try not to get fired. With three game modes, 50 levels, OpenFeint achievements, leaderboards, and lots of upgrades in career mode, you will enjoy hours of zombie goodness.

Already on sale for the Apple iPhone for $2.99 with the Android and Apple iPad versions upcoming, Crawl Space Games delivers yet again – check out Knife Toss, one of my faves for my Apple iPhone also by Crawl Space Games.

If you like hip-hop, rhythm and blues, a touch of jazz and folk, all wrapped up with adult themes and lyrics and music that’s as modern as it is a throwback to better times; Foreign Exchange comprised of Little Brother’s Phonte Coleman and Dutch producer Nicolay are coming out with their third album “Authenticity”.

Picking up where their 2008 Grammy-nominated “Leave It All Behind” set left off, “Authenticity” is the group’s most diverse work to date, with a tight, 11-track song cycle spanning the duo’s trademark brand of lush electronic soul, to stripped down acoustic pieces that recall the heyday of 70′s singer-songwriter driven folk.

Tracklisting:

01. The Last Fall

02. Authenticity

09. Everything Must Go

10. Laughing At Your Plans

11. This City Ain’t The Same Without You

I don’t mind admitting that I’m a fan. I don’t need to listen to a whole bunch of “yeah’s” screamed at me nor way too explicit lyrics being in music that I’d rather relax with my friends and/or lady with. And from what I’ve heard thus far, Foreign Exchange will be Grammy nominated, if not Grammy winners this next time.

Official Google App is on the way for the Apple iPhone...

You might recall the big stink raised last year after Apple banned Google Voice from the application store. AT&T and Apple of course played dumb to suggestions that either acted anti-competitively to block an application that poses a significant threat to both the old telco or phone OS business models.

With Uncle Sam sniffing around Apple on numerous fronts, Apple recently eased iPhone developer restrictions and now it appears that the official Google Voice app will finally be arriving on the iPhone. According to Techcrunch, the app has actually already been approved and will pop up soon:

…we’ve gotten word that the official Google Voice application is on its way to the iPhone in the next few weeks. In fact, we’ve heard from a source close to Google that it’s already been approved Google just needs to revamp the application to work with the iPhone 4 and iOS’s multitasking capabilities. If you’re a Google Voice user and you’re on an iPhone, this is great news.

As already explored at length, applications like Google Voice are going to speed up the death of concepts like SMS and voice minutes, given that things like mobile VoIP and push IM make them irrelevant. With reduction in that revenue, carriers like AT&T and Verizon are eagerly looking forward to jacking up mobile data costs with new low cap, high overage data plans.

Link to the original article…

FileMaker Go provides more ways to update, share and create content for your FileMaker Pro databases remotely.

FileMaker just announced an update for their FileMaker Go app for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPad that just put pretty much the power of an office, an warehouse and a database into the something that fits into your hands. What’s that update? The ability to create PDFs, share databases via email and insert photos into your FileMaker Pro databases. Remotely.

FileMaker, Inc. today announced version 1.1 of FileMaker Go for iPhone and FileMaker Go for iPad, the popular new apps that let users work with FileMaker Pro databases on iPhone or iPad.

Users can now produce PDFs directly from FileMaker Go and either save them on their mobile devices or email them. This feature lets mobile users easily save and distribute reports, create invoices, and share project status directly from their iPad or iPhone.

Another enhancement is the ability to save a copy of a complete database and email it directly from FileMaker Go. With this feature, iPhone and iPad users can exchange databases from their devices without needing to dock with a desktop or laptop.

Best part? This update is totally free.

FileMaker Go is compatible with FileMaker Pro 7 databases and later versions. FileMaker Go 1.1 is available now as a free download for existing FileMaker Go users from the App Store. FileMaker Go for iPhone and iPod touch, running iOS 4 is $19.99 and FileMaker Go for iPad is $39.

Step Right Up! All the fun and excitement of your favorite Carnival Games is on the Apple iPhone!

Over the Labor Day Holiday Weekend, I had the chance to visit the county fair. And allow me the opportunity to set a mental landscape before entering this review full steam. Imagine the smells of cotton candy filling the air, funnel cakes, the unfortunate waft of an elephant (ew!) and popcorn by the ton. Visualize the brightly painted and extremely lit signs announcing oddball tests of strength and dexterity that you will probably never encounter in real life.

That is, not unless you get the 2K Games Carnival for your Apple iPhone or Apple iPod Touch. Best part, there’s no elephant smell either.

Carnival Games has the typical odd assortment of games from a test of strength, bumper boats, shooting galleries (shoot out the center of a star, shoot the ducks with the targets on their sides and a Wild West shooting game) and even a milk bottle game that you can actually win – much unlike in the real life <strike>cheating gosh darn</strike> game.

The graphics are great, simple, extremely clean and bright and in good looking 3D. Upon your first start up, you will create a character, I decided to make mine look like me… sorta. You can unlock many items and add them to the look of your character. In fact, my little cherub like avatar is now sporting a pair of x-ray glasses that I won by ringing the bell in the test of strength three times. And speaking of which, 2K Games actually worked it out where if you have to slide your finger up and down in order to build your strength for the test of strength, you actually have to rub your finger up and down – staying in one place won’t suffice. I found that actually cool that they used the iPhone’s touch screen in that manner.

You move around the screen using an virtual joystick and while it’s easy to get around, you cannot control the camera at all. The way the game is laid out, you have to walk around from place to place to where the carnival games are located. While I don’t mind the controls in that aspect, you can find yourself walking into corners or behind the game stands. Just walk around them and you’ll be fine.

I was one of the few that did encounter some random crashes; however since the 1.01 update in the last few days, I can easily state that I’ve been crash-free and enjoying this game to the point of having to charge my battery multiple times in a day. Easy to pick up, totally fun to play with, 100% addictive. I’ll have to give the Nintendo Wii version a spin later on too.

A definite must-buy in my book: 5 out of 5 (Highly Addictive)

Apple announced their “AirPrint” wireless printing that will accompany Apple’s iOS 4.2 will be out in November, but why wait until then? Epson and Thinxtream have collaborated their new mobile printing application, PrintJinni for the Apple iPod Touch, Apple iPhone and Apple iPad.

“PrintJinni for Epson enhances the printing experience for mobile device users by delivering superior performance where it counts, whether at home, in the office, or on the road,” said Gregg Brunnick, group product manager, Consumer Ink Jets, Epson America, Inc. “With the benefit to print to any Wi-Fi-enabled Epson all-in-one, this convenient app keeps iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users from being tied to one printer. PrintJinni for Epson offers the ultimate mobile printing freedom and superior print quality inherent in Epson’s all-in-one solutions.”

PrintJinni for Epson does support Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 documents, as well as Adobe PDF, JPEG from e-mail attachments. Via an easy setup, PrintJinni supports Microsoft Exchange, Apple MobileMe, Google Gmail and other IMAP based e-mail accounts. And since I’m an Epson printer owner – WorkForce 600/610 – this app will allow for printing to the Epson line of Wi-Fi enabled printers and all-in-ones wirelessly without the need or use of a computer and will work alongside the aforementioned AirPrint functionality coming later this year.

Best part? It’s out right now and not later in the year. Even better? Presently the price is only $6.99 via the Apple iTunes Store, but only for a limited time only then it’s back up to $9.99 and does include a free one-year subscription to the PrintJinni Cloud Services.

Apple today unveiled their new Apple TV device, which as rumors had suggested costs $99, tops out playback at 720p and is focused on renting TV episodes for a dollar or new films for five dollars.

There’s no hard drive in this incarnation, with everything streamed via either 802.11n Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity. The unit also comes with Netflix streaming service embedded. As rumors also suggested, broadcasters are still afraid of cannibalizing their traditional TV cash cow, so Apple scrapped a more interesting subscription-based TV service for this fairly standard rental model, which only features content from ABC and Fox.

Great price, great option if you were looking for one that has no internal storage is basically a “rent only” device; however it is not for me.

As part of “You’re holding it wrong”-gate, Apple has posted today an update for their Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4 as well as the iPad – only to version 3.2.1. The biggest noticeable difference is that you will now have taller first, second and third tier antenna bars. A few other fixes have made their way into this mix and if you were using the Gold Master build and still had the Game Center application, you will no longer have it after this update.

Sad part… this whole time I’ve been in 4-5 bar territory in my home, I’ve maintained a solid 2 bar coverage after this update. Seems like the coverage story showing up wrong the entire time was indeed more true than marketing excuse.

Still… nothing major in this update so far. Let’s see what Apple says tomorrow during their July 16, 2010 press conference.

Continuing what’s been an ongoing rumor of a big new Apple broadband video push, the Wall Street Journal indicates that Apple is in negotiations with a number of broadcasters to lower the price of TV shows for the launch of their tablet computer. Apple currently offers TV shows for $1.99 for standard-definition episodes and $2.99 for high-definition episodes. Last December rumors began to bubble up suggesting that Apple wants to launch a subscription video service, though many studios and broadcasters remain skittish about embracing broadband video. Rumors suggest that Disney (ABC) and CBS are on board with the new service, though outlets like News Corporation remain “on the fence.”

GOGII textPlus, a free Apple iPhone application to send free SMS to your contact list or up to groups of 50 has been released on the Android platform.

One of my favorite ways to save money by texting between folks in my contact list on the Apple iPhone was just announced for the Google Android platform.

GOGII, Inc. announces today the launch of textPlus, its popular next generation texting application, on the Android Market. Previously available only on the Apple App Store, the unique textPlus app now brings sponsor-supported free and unlimited messaging to Android users and allows them to have instant group “conversations” in text with friends on most U.S. carriers.

“We’ve already seen overwhelming consumer response to the textPlus app in the Apple App Store thanks to the millions of consumers who’ve embraced our game-changing features – from casual texters to the staggering number of consumers who text as their primary mode of communication,” said Scott Lahman, CEO and co-founder of GOGII. “We’re pleased to make textPlus available to Android users, and offer even more text-happy mobile consumers this tricked-out, next generation texting service.”

By leveraging GOGII’s interactive messaging technology, textPlus allows both old-style texting – one-to-one conversations – and next generation texting – rich, engaging environments and instant group text conversations. A useful ‘reply-all’ feature, similar to email, turns texting into a chatroom that lets users make plans with several friends at once, introduce people to one another or just carry on a group conversation – all in text and all for free.

Additional features make it easy for Android texters to make textPlus their preferred SMS service, including the international ability to send free messages from abroad to friends in the U.S. using a U.S. 10-digit phone number and free Notifications when messages come into the app, even when closed. What’s more, textPlus lets Android users communicate with friends who aren’t using the app – they simply pay for texts through their existing carrier plan.

GOGII expects the textPlus Android app to be met with the same degree of consumer fervor on the Android Market that it has on the Apple App Store. To date, the textPlus app has already seen almost 3.5 million downloads, and over 350 million messages have been sent using the service since June. And while only the top 5% of applications in the Apple App Store reach 100,000 unique monthly visitors, textPlus exceeded that by over 7 times in its second month of release.

This truly makes my excuse to not go look at the Google <strike>Nexus One</strike> Phone that much harder. textPlus for the Android platform is to be released <strike>very soon</strike> now.

Hey GOGII, a Nokia N900 version soon perhaps? Please? Thanks Beth for the tip!

One of the original apps that did Google Voice on the Apple iPhone, Sean Kovacs GV Mobile, but was ripped out of the Apple iTunes app store because of the politics of Google Voice and AT&T’s “policies” and later was set loose on the Cydia/Rock scene (read: jailbroken iPhone scene) is currently in private beta.

The bad part, Sean Kovacs is seriously contemplating renewing his Apple iPhone Developer Program where other applications copy parts of GV Mobile and sooner-than-later, new apps will be coming out that tap into Google Voice on the Apple iPhone such as the VoiceCentral Black Swan Edition. Even worse, GV Mobile has been sitting in pending status for over 5 months. It would alleviate the sign-in credentials problem that Google had alerted developers about months prior to the AT&T/Apple/Google Voice drama.

I hope that he updates his dev program with Apple and GV Mobile gets updated. I’m still holding onto my install of it.
