Intel to Announce Next Generation Atom Platform N450

21 Dec 2009Intel announced its new Intel Atom processors today that feature integrated graphics built directly into the CPU, enabling improved performance and smaller, more energy-efficient designs in a new generation of netbooks and Atom-based entry level desktop PCs. Major OEMs have committed to having systems on the new Intel Atom processors and a new companion chipset available within the next few weeks.

ASUS held a press conference to announce its Windows 7 based ultra-slim notebook PC UL Series and fifth-generation netbook Eee PC Touch for the Korean market.
MSI Korea launched its high-performance entertainment notebook pc ‘EX460′ in Korea market, which is equipped with an external ATI Radeon HD 4330(512MB) graphics.
ASUS launched its two new Eee PCs ’1101HA’ and ’1005HA’ based on Windows 7 operating system. Equipped with 250GB HDD, it adopts a 11.5-inch HD LCD screen with 1366 X 768 resolution. Eee PC 1101HA is available in Blue, Black and White, and Eee PC 1005HA comes in Blue, White, Pink and Black. No words on pricing yet.

OQO Model 2+ just might not make it out?
26 Apr 2009I’ve been avoiding covering this because I actually wanted to get the new OQO Model 2+ to replace my OQO Model 01+ that I’m using right now to post this. For the first time, there was going to be an actual Intel chip inside as well as (on the higher model) an OLED vibrant screen and upwardly to 2gb of RAM. Compared to my lowly OQO 01+, the OQO 2+ would have been the worthy update.
